About Us

Our History

Leicester Grammar School is a co-educational day school for children aged 10-18. Founded in 1981 in Leicester City Centre, we are now based on a 75 acre site in Great Glen opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2008.

Our Aims for our Pupils

  • To develop the academic potential of each pupil.
  • To enrich the pupils' experience through music, sport and other activities.
  • To allow the moral and spiritual well-being of the pupil to grow.
  • To nurture the individual, in a co-educational school, with a Christian ethos.
