Forensic Murder Mystery!

On Tuesday 4 June, we had the pleasure of hosting 32 pupils from St Cuthbert's Primary School, Great Glen. The children spent the morning with our Science staff trying to solve a murder mystery. Both groups were able to identify the poison that killed Miss T Posh and who the murderer was!

Dr Ainge then entertained them with demonstrations of some of the more vigorous chemical reactions, eg elephant's toothpaste and the whoosh bottle!

The day was a success and the children behaved themselves admirably.  The Headmaster popped in to see them and they were able to explain to him what they were doing. It was a pleasure to be able to share our facilities with children from the local community.
