Exceptional Oxbridge Success

We are proud to celebrate an outstanding period of Oxbridge success, with our pupils securing an impressive ten offers in total. This includes nine offers for current Sixth Form students and one for Old Leicestrian Dhiren (OL’25).
This achievement, spanning both the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, reflects the consistently high academic standards within our Sixth Form. We are particularly delighted that more than half of these pupils have been part of the Trust since Leicester Grammar Junior School, highlighting the strength of our educational journey from early years through to A‑levels.
The offers cover a range of highly competitive courses, including Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine—subjects that demand exceptional intellectual ability, resilience and commitment.
- Harriet - French and Russian
- Arvind - Engineering
- Shreyas - Maths
- Anjali - Natural Science

This success is a testament not only to the dedication, ambition and hard work of our pupils, but also to the sustained support of our teachers, tutors and pastoral staff who guide them throughout their time at the school. We are equally proud of every student who took on the challenge of an Oxbridge application; their determination, courage and pursuit of excellence embody the very best of Leicester Grammar School.
Congratulations to all involved on this exceptional achievement.
