We are immensely proud of every one of our students who richly deserve the success they have achieved.

Among this year’s success stories are:

• 14 students managed a clean sweep of A* grades at A-level.
• 13 students navigated the challenge of applying for Medicine or Dentistry and secured the grades required to meet their university offers.
• 8 students achieved their offers to study at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Pol, a passionate and talented composer and performer, secured a place to study at the Royal Northern College of Music.
• Alex and Dan both achieved the grades required to pursue exciting careers as commercial pilots.
• Amana is looking beyond these shores and has secured a place to study at a university in the United States.
• Sam has gained a degree apprenticeship with Stockdale Quantity Surveyors in London, beginning in September.
• Samantha will start a degree apprenticeship with leading UK food manufacturer Samworth Brothers next month.

Our Headmaster, Magnus Anderson, commented:

This is a happy, talented and successful group of students and we are delighted, though not surprised, by their wonderful results. They have excelled as a Year group, whether playing sport or music, performing on the stage, undertaking Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, or leading younger pupils as Prefects or community leaders. We are enormously proud of all that they have achieved, and these fantastic results are the cherry on that cake. We wish them every success as they move on to the next phase of their lives, knowing that they will always be part of the Leicester Grammar community.
