Sport scholarships are available for pupils who demonstrate significant strength, county level (or equivalent) or above, in at least one of the sports offered at Leicester Grammar School.

• Hockey (Boys & Girls) – Standout player in School/Club/County
• Rugby (Boys) – Standout player in School/Club/County
• Netball (Girls) - Standout player in School/Club/County
• Tennis (Boys & Girls) – Standout player in School/Club/County

For entry in Year 12 (Sixth Form)

Sports scholarships are awarded for the Sixth Form to outstanding, all-round sportsmen and women who have achieved a high level of competence in two or more sports, of which at least one is a major Leicester Grammar School team-sport. Candidates will be assessed and interviewed at the school, and will be expected to demonstrate exceptional qualities of leadership and team-play, as well as a commitment to school sport.
